^Lot 3081 WINCHESTER 1873 THIRD MODEL RIMFIRE LEVER ACTION

RIFLE. Cal. 22 Cal. (22 Short). S# 223890B. Bbl. 24" rnd. German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight with sporting rear sight. Full length tubular mag. Original finish was blue with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1887. CONDITION: metal has faded to gray showing scattered very light pitting and handling marks. Sanded and refinished wood shows remaining scratches and marks. Left side of forearm has a long crack. Sound action. Inside mag. tube is intact. Bore shows a lightly frosted appearance with sound rifling. (01-27351/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,500.
